Types of IELTS EXAM
IELTS examinations are divided into two types: Academic and General Training.The listening and speaking portions are the same for both examinations, however, the subject matter for the writing and reading sections varies depending on which test is taken.
- Academic IELTS – Those applying for further education or professional registration in another country must take IELTS Academic.Those applying for further education or professional registration in another country must take IELTS Academic.
- General IELTS- Those who intend to relocate to major English-speaking nations such as Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom take the IELTS General Test.The exam is the simpler test.
SCORING
IELTS has 48 fixed test dates each year to ensure high levels of quality and security. The Academic version of the test is available on all 48 dates. The General Training version of the test is available on 24 dates. And the score is valid until 2 years.

FEES STRUCTURE
The IELTS registration cost is ₹ 14,700 for registrations beginning July 11th, 2021. This is consistent across all exam centres in India.
